Excessive Worry (Chronic or
Sudden Fear of Disaster) Some people start compulsively worrying or start having unexplained panic attacks. The situation, which may slowly develop during a person’s 30s or 40s and lasts throughout old age, becomes so serious that they either start fearing being alone, fearing death or imminent disaster or fearing going to certain places. They soon feel incapacitated by their excessive worry or sudden, often unpredictable, panic attacks. They may experience a fast heart rate, sweating, trembling, shortness of breath, feelings of chocking, chest discomfort, stomach distress, dizziness, numbness, chills or hot flashes and they may feel like they have become detached from themselves, feel like they are losing control or fear dying. Or these people may just feel generally very anxious, always focusing on the negative they feel restless, nervous, worried, tired and overloaded. Obviously, neither way is an acceptable way to live life! James Steed teaches these people 1) how to calm themselves down
through regulated breathing and self-hypnosis, 2) how to desensitize
themselves to certain real and imagined situations and 3) how to replace the
nightmares they are having on an unconscious level with dreams of comfort and
well-being. These become more fun-loving and adventurous and the client
regains feelings of confidence, safety and comfort. The only thing that James Steed cannot do well is undo the
physical dependence these people might have on Xanax®, a strong physically
and psychologically addictive drug they might have been taking for relief of
their uncomfortable symptoms WARNING: Hypnosis is not a substitute for professional medical or psychiatric care. Anyone with such problems should seek the aide of trained professionals. Back Anxiety Test About Me Hypnosis |
